What information do we collect about you?

We only collect information that is required for the safety of our students and their dance education.  Registration forms are given out when a new pupil enrols with the school.

 

How will we use the information about you?

We use the information to contact you with regards to your child’s dance classes and to register them with any exam boards or competition organisers as the need arises.  We will not disclose any information about you to any company other than noted above, or if required to do so by law.

 

Access to your information and correction

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you.  Please contact the principal by email sylvandance@btopenworld.com.

We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date.  You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.

 

Retention of data

We will retain your information for the duration of the student’s time with the school.

We may disclose your information to other organisations whose business is the processing of information in relation to dance training activities.

You have the right to a copy of personal information that we keep about you.  Should you wish to do so, please contact the Principal.  If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please contact the Principal as soon as possible.  We will correct any information found to be incorrect promptly.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.
